Hey there, lovely people!

My name is Joanna, and I'm a certified STOTT Pilates and yoga trapeze instructor. I’m also a pre and postnatal fitness specialist, and passionate about empowering women to achieve their fitness goals.

Before making the switch to a full-time trainer, I worked in the corporate world in the legal and insurance industry. But I quickly realized that teaching is my true calling, and it's been an incredibly rewarding journey.

I love helping people discover their full potential and guiding them on their fitness journey. Follow along to learn more about my approach to fitness and how I can help you achieve your goals.

The first time I went to Joanna’s session was on Mother’s Day around May last year. I was seven months postpartum and had diastasis recti, where my abdominal muscles had a gap due to my pregnancy. She taught me three simple exercises: Core Breath, Pelvic Floor, and Deep Core Activation. These exercises, along with her tips on posture, greatly helped with my condition. At that time, I was still breastfeeding and juggling my studies, but I made sure to follow these exercises. During a subsequent session with Joanna, she informed me that my diastasis had finally closed. She really helped me and opened my eyes to new perspectives on Pilates.

I have chronic lower back pain from sedentary computer work and have tried physiotherapy, chiropractors, osteopaths, massage, accupuncture without lasting results. Joanna managed to do a good assessment of my posture and identified weakness in my glutes and hamstrings as well as hip mobility as being the cause. Her training and the regime of Pilates really helps me improve stability around my core and hip area to protect my lower back and bring lasting relief through better posture and support.
